Home Goods Home Goods Vestal Parkway, Vestal, NY I stopped in Home Goods and dropped off a coat that I thought one of the employees had left at my house when she was there for a party. There were two employees there and I said is Gina here and they both said she had just left. I said can I leave this coat for her I think this is her coat and they both said yes. I left it on the counter assuming they would tell her. and put it in a safe place until she came back to work. I had been trying to find out who's coat it was and narrowed it down to an employee at Home Goods. I never heard from my friend who works there and assumed it was hers. Then a week later another woman who was at the party said she just realized she left her coat at my house. So I called my friend at Home Goods and told her about the situation. She was never told about the coat. No one had ever mentioned it to her. When I went in to find out about where the coat was today I confronted one of the employees (David) that was there when I dropped the coat off and he could not seem to be able to to speak to me Then the manager was there and I mentioned it to her and she said well let's take care of the customers (like my situation was insignificant.) I didn't like that very much. My friend was there and said she had checked in the back room and there was no coat. Then the manager came back over and raising her voice and embarrassing me went on to say that what is this coat exchange anyway? I heard you say to (David ) that he is responsible. Well who is? She proceeded to babble until I had to walk away. She was very rude and I am a very good customer there also, at least I was. This was handled very poorly on the manager' s part and the employees that I left it with. I had to finally leave without any answers and had to tell my other friend that her coat is no where to be found.
