Dear Frank,

I am sorry for your unfortunate experience. If it helps to know you are not alone (and I have been told by builders, others as well), I too cannot believe what I was told about the sunroom and what is actually true. I live in NY, so it is not just FL I assume. It is ice cold (like being outside) in the winter and unbearable in the summer. The room is only usable/comfortable approx 4-6 weeks out of the year and the salesman knew we needed it for permanent living space. Oil is so expensive and I can't imagine how costly it would be to actual keep it a little warm.

I too have leaks and my unit is only approx 1 yr old. They have come to fix it and they just put caulk on it 2 times. Now I found out there is a recall on certain rooms - one that looks like mine - where the glass can start a fire near the roof and even though they were here to "fix it" with caulk, and I spoke to the supervisor, no one told me of a potential problem (if it is for mine as well). I just happened to find it on the internet when looking for help.

I can't believe with the number of people who told me how the rooms were not good or have problems that there is nothing done about it.

Can you offer me any advice?
