David's Bridal Dedham, MA I am appalled at the alterations department in the Dedham, MA office. I purchased my dress in Feb of this year picked it up in April & had my first alterations appointment in May 2006. An Asian woman helped me who's english isn't all that great and she reassured me that the bustle I was paying for would not affect the look of my dress. I requested that I have a bustle that doesn't impose on the structure of my gown that everything be under the dress nothing in plain sight. I questioned the seamstress as she continued to pin my gown over and over I won't see anything on my gown right and she said right everything underneath. Well to my dismay when I showed up on May 25,2006 to pick my dress up and it had over 10 buttons across the butt and a dirty stain on it. Needless to say I was livid. I spoke w/ the store manager b/c the alterations manager was not in. I finally spoke w/ the alterations mgr made another appt told them to have all the buttons and the stain removed by the time I came back on 6/3/06. Well I called before hand to make sure my dress was cleaned and the buttons were off I spoke to the same Asian lady who put the hideous buttons on my dress and she said it was all set. I come in on 6/2/06 the dress is the same way I left it on 5/25/06 buttons, dirt etc. i spoke w/ the alterations mgr AGAIN eventually I finally got the attention and resolution I wanted. I know have to go back and I still may be charged more money on top of the $120 I already paid for alterations. I HATE THIS PLACE!!! I will never go there again.
