ParetoLogic XoftSpySE Spyware Remover - Horrible Experience

I recently bought ParetoLogic's spyware removal application over the Internet : XoftSpySE. My PC had a particularly virulent form of adware (SurfSideKick) and I was referred to this site by several Google and Yahoo searches. The ads explicitly mentioned that this product would remove the adware and it seemed like a great investment at the time. Like every other web site, 100% satisfaction was guaranteed.

So I spent my money (about $30), installed the license and ran the software. After about 10 attempts, it failed to remove the adware. I sent all the information and the log files to their Support and had no response. So I sent another email to their customer service requesting some help, and still no response. Meanwhile, I managed to find another free software which I could download which actually removed my adware.

I wanted to report my experience, since the company ( www.paretologic.com) seems to take a lot of pride in its support and satisfaction to customers. I have had a horrible experience with this company and while it is clear I will never buy anything ever from them or refer them to any of my friends, it is just not right to treat customers this way.
