I placed an order through MusiciansFriend.com on July 24, 2006. I paid for Express Shipping (2-5 days). Delivery was set for Saturday July 29, 2006. The package never arrived. When I checked the tracking that evening when I got home from work, it said that they had the incorrect delivery address. Monday morning at 0745, I called FedEx and verified that they did have the correct address. The driver either went to the wrong house or did not attempt delivery. They stated that they do not deliver residential on Mondays and the next day for delivery would be Tuesday August 1, 2006. I stated that this was outside of the 2-5 day delivery promise and asked about a refund. They said that I would have to obtain a refund from MusiciansFriend.com. I asked to speak to a Customer Service Manager. She was absolutely no help either. She just repeated what the rep. had already stated. This was not the first time I have had problems with FedEx. I had previously placed an order from Wineglobe.com. They would not deliver it without a signature. They attempted on Tuesday. When I called the office to schedule a delivery for a day that I would be home, they said that they could not do that. They attempt to deliver on 3 consecutive days, in this case on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then they held it in their shipping facility until I came and picked it up. I had to drive 40 miles each way to pick it up. They should have been able to schedule a delivery on Friday when I was off work, but they would not do it. In the future, if a company says that they use FedEx for shipping, I will not purchase from that company.
