LG Service Dear Sir/Madam I bought a LG 21"colour TV (golden eye multi PIP) in Nov.2003. Recently in June 2006 it went blank.I called LG service centre.Persons from Shree Electronics,Vashi(Authorised service centre) came & took the main PCB of the TV.After giving blank assurances for over a month they have now concluded that I have to change the whole board or go in for a new TV as the board will cost me Rs9000/= plus.On visiting the shop I was shown the main PCB & on enquiry it was revealed to me that an add-on PCB(which control the full functions)only was faulty & that it was not available. Now I ask ,is this the service LG wish to provide its customers? How can you justify such an action where all components are OK but because of an add-on card,which they are unable to repair,you go in for the whole card?Even then,how do you justify such a high cost of spares? I don't agree with your service "tactics".I call it sheer blackmail. If you can do something about this I will be obliged. Hope to receive a positive reply from you.
