Empire Carpet

I had vinyl flooring and carpets put in my Empire carpet. I live in Washington State, the salesman came out and the next day they started installation.. I must say that I was supprised when an "affiliated company" came to install our purchase. It wasn't Empire that installed, so be warned all future customers.. We agreed on a certain are to be done. The vinyl iinstallers said that we shouldn't do a certain section and we agreed. The carpet installers put a big deep cut in our door when trying to take out our furniture after we told them that It wouldn't fit. The carpet is coming up off the floor, it isn't tacked down in some places. The baseboards are all scuffed up and cut in some places. We called our salesman and told him that we were unhappy, he came out and took some pictures and said he would send them to the people who need to see them. He also said that he would look into getting us a portion refunded for the vinyl and labor of the section we didn't use. The person he sent the pictures called us finally, a week later. She said the vinyl installers would come out and they did. She also said that the carpet installers wouldn't return her phone call and we are still waiting to here from them!!!! I called the customer service number and they said that it says in the contract that the baseboards will get scuffed up and they said they would give me $50.00 for my trouble. I said no cause my door is worth alot more than that.. I feel that since we financed with them that they can give us the run around.....Future customers beware!!!!!
