I ordered a digital camera from overstock.com 11-25-05. I never could get the package tracked, so I contacted customer service and got the run around from the first two people I spoke to. I kept trying though. This was about a week before Christmas now and the intended package was a gift. I finally got hold of someone who knew what they were doing and they got the camera to me a couple of days before Christmas. Happy to get it I opened the shipping box to find the camera that I didn't order, That camera was out of stock. There was a note of apology explaining that this camera has the same features (true) and that it was a more expensive model (untrue). The model I ordered retailed $199.00, the one they sent retailed $129.00. I can find both models on ebay ( by the way ebay sellers are some of the best if you pay attention to their feedback, I bought 7 items in the last month all good deals with timely shipping ) cheaper than what I paid at overstock.com. I purchased from overstock.com because I thought the shipping would be better. I learned my lesson. I have been using the internet since before the .com revolution and have enjoyed the freedom to shop online, most of it has been great, but overstock.com gets a ZERO !!!
