Lending Tree

I asked for a quote for a home mortgage refi on Lending Tree. I got a list of lenders with “quotes” but wasn’t interested in pursuing any of them at that time. I did not respond to any directly, and marked them “rejected” on the Lending Tree site, but kept getting emails and phone calls from various Lending Tree brokers for three months – and they all pulled a credit report! I ended up with about 10 inquiries on my credit report, which reduces the FICO score. I will never, ever go back to that site or recommend it to anyone!
