I purchased a computer in December and was given 6 months of free AOL. My internet service at that time was AOL. They told me I could put it on my current account all I had to do was notify their promotion department and the decision would be made. Well I purchased the computer Dec. 17 and it is now Jan. 30. I canceled my AOL as they told me I couldn't add the free 6 months. I called Dell and told them my situation and requested putting on the promotion now. I was told I had 30 days after purchase to join. I told her no one told us this. She said if I had pushed the AOL register icon I would of found this out. I told her I had no intention of registering as I was already on aol and they were trying to put it on my current account. She repeated this several times and I also repeated to her. She said no one at Dell could change this. I asked her 4 times to connect me to some one who could as I knew nothing about this 30 days. Finally she would get her supervisor. Well I waited a long time on the phone waiting for connection. No supervisor so I hung up and I am now writing to you to see if I can get some resolution.
