Route 22 Nissan POOR customer service - don't disclose email please

This happenned today, 1/31/2006:

I'm extremely disappointed and upset with route 22 Nissan dealer manager. He

refused to provide us (me and my wife) his business card when we informed

him that we wanted to speak to his superiors about our experience at his

dealership.

This dealership has a demo Titan truck left over from 2005 and I negotiated

with Mr. Ziad Shehadi (sales manager) a sale price for that vehicle. It was

never disclosed to me that the agreed price was taking into consideration

the "Cash Back" incentive in that type of automobile, which we believe was

an unfair and deceiving sale strategy. We were actually encouraged to use

the 2% financing incentive towards the purchase of the vehicle and not use

the "cash back" credit (This incentives expires today). It was only after

the finance officer had run my credit report that Mr. Shehani showed us a

document with a sale price completely different from the one we had agreed.

When we asked the sales person why we were seeing different numbers from the

ones that we had agreed upon, he told us that they were adding the "cash

back" incentive “for us” at the end of the price calculation.

Since we were counting for our purchase with the 2% financing incentive

instead of the cash back and the words “incentive” or “cash back” were never

part of our negotiation, we requested clarification of the price.

Mr. Shehadi spoke with the store manager and this person reacted in a very

aggressive and disrespectful manner against us. He accepted the fact that

the "CASH BACK" was never mentioned to us trough the price negotiation

process, but he did not let us exercise our right to choose which incentive

we wanted on the vehicle. According to him he was “losing money and since we

were not his customers, he could care less whether we buy the car or not…”

My wife and I reach out to you to prevent others who may become victims of

these deceptive tactics and aggressive behavior. Be aware of Route 22 Nissan

of New Jersey, they do not respect the customer and they use deception as a

sales strategy.

Thank You

Henry Romero
