I have been trying to solve my credit card problem with HSBC bank Turkish

branch for months. Their employees are just insensible and rude. I hope you

can find a solution to my problem.


I have an Advantage Credit card from HSBC in Turkey. Hovewer, I dont use it

because I have lived in USA for the last three years. Last year my card was

stolen. Somebody spent approximately 1000 USD on my account. I called them

and cancelled the card. I also sent all the documents required to make my

claim that I did not do any of these spending. I gave them the exact dates

which I did not use the card. They told me that the process requires some

time so I should wait. I waited for a long time as they said. Through this

period I contacted them few times and they told me that the process was

going on. At last, when I was in Turkey in December I called HSBC bank

customer relations unit. I have been told that only the 200 USD is refunded

to me. When I asked about the reason, the Customer Relations employee could

not give me any information about it. She just got all my contact

information again (including my phone number in USA) and said someone will

contact with me within a few days. It is approximately one month and nobody

called me yet. I sent an email one week ago, but there is no answer to it

too. Thus, I called Customer relations again today. First of all, the

employees are just rude. Second, I could not even ask my question because

although I answer all of her questions she thinks that my birthdate is not

written correctly. Should this be my problem if HSBC bank recorded it wrong?

And why did not anybody asked me about it when I tried to reach my account

earlier? Are there any standardization on HSBC Bank process or it is just

based on the mood of the employees?


Anyway, I am completely unsatisfied with HSBC Bank's service. I think they

should offer a better service to their customers if they are claiming (I am

sure they do!!!!) HSBC is a customer focused service company. I really can

not understand how you can be that irresponsive???


DONT WORK WITH THEM. ESPECIALLY IN TURKEY. COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED WITH HSBC

BANK. TELL OTHERS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE PLEASE. HSBC = BAD SERVICE.
