Callous attitude of NJ Transit conductors at Jersey Avenue

Callous attitude of NJ Transit conductors at Jersey Avenue I board NJ Transit from Jersey Avenue every morning to commute to New York.
The conductors are not customer oriented at all and they do not care. Here are few of customer unfriendly behaviors: 1. All the doors are not open. Being a low platform conductors have to open each door manually and some are too lazy to open door assigned to them. The most used doors are in back of train ( as overflow parking is at tail end of train) and are closed. When conductors on the train are asked about opening the door they say safety is first, but this is more of a safety hazard to ask everyone to run for few doors open in front of train . 2. When trains out of Jersey Ave. are waiting for green signal / other trains to pass they don't think about opening doors, This could be debatable approach but how about go to signal and while waiting for signal open doors which are on platform and as soon as signal is green close it and go.Is this to difficult/dangerous to do ? Not at all if you are customer oriented. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Monday, 30-Jan-06 14:33:08 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
