Since having a cingular cell phone I get very poor reception and constant dropped calls. I have called and complained about the service many times. I get the same customer service response each time, which is usually nothing. I'm told that because I signed up for a 2 year contract there would be no way I could get out of the contract without paying for each plan. Since I have a family plan I have 3 cell phones on this billing. The service is so bad that I can't even make or receive phone calls from within my home. Oddly enough, before Cingular bought out AT & T, I never had a problem. Then 6 weeks after signing on with cingular because I changed over to the family plan and had no choice, I then discover I could no longer use my phone service outside the Des Moines calling area. This upset me since my parents lived in southern Iowa and I traveled there quit frequently. As you would know it, I called and told them about the situation and was told that I would;ve had to changed my service within the first month of the contract, in order to get the old plan back that serviced southern Iowa. I told the service rep that I thought everything I had signed on with before was the same except the family plan package. The only reply, "Their working on raising the bar." What a joke.
