My wife & I have been great customers for the last 5-7 years with this company,purchasing their merchandise (which is not to bad,wish I could say the same for attitude and service now) and for the most part except on certain occassions have been relatively satisfied up til now. I recently attempted to purchase some new mens clothing and with the understanding that this would be charged to our Blair account,of which I might add we had a ZERO BALANCE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. I was advised back in November (original order date) I would receive this merchandise in 3 business days(UPS-and we paid extra for this) Unfortunately in our world of human beings and our lack of paying attention to the customer's needs I did NOT receive this merchandise until 10 days later. We wound up sending almost all of this back for we either did not care for the style or to exhange for size. We have made numerous contacts via telephone to the company only to be told on several occassions that they can not ship back the merchandise due to we are supposedly over our credit limit??? That is kind of strange seeing we did NOT owe them anything and the new purchases only come to $478,and the limit if you recall is $500.00,besides we are not asking for add'l merchandise we are simply wanting what we are being charged for here. We have contacted our attorney at this point for they are just simply ignorant or lack the skills to comprehend and fix this situation at Blair Corporation I beleive. I also believe at this point they SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER IF THIS GETS RESOLVED . I will tell you that I have been rather arrogant and possibly alittle rude,but have not used ANY ABUSIVE LANGUAGE,NOR FOUL WORDS TO THEM. But I am sure as I am sitting here anyone in our position at this point of frustration would also be well out of patience by now with this company.


I am doing everything I can think of to get the word out in the marketplace about how HORRIBLE THE SERVICE IS AND ALSO FOR EVERYONE WHO GETS A BLAIR CATALOG TO THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE,FOR THIS COMPANY DOES NOT KNOW WHICH END IS UP NOR DO THEY CARE. THE CEO OF THE COMPANY,SO I AM TOLD DOES NOT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS??? WHAT IS UP WITH THAT,HE MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN WHERE OR HOW HE GOT THERE TO THE TOP CHAIR??? TYPICAL OF A CEO MENTALITY TODAY HOWEVER IN OUR WORLD..... We have not intention of paying DIME ONE UNTIL THESE FOLKS WAKE UP AND TAKE NOTICE AND GIVE US THE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT LIKE WE DESERVE AS ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I was apalled at the mentality at the beginning of this mess,but now it seems or would appear everyone in the company behaves the same,right up to the BIG SHOT OR SO HE MAY THINK MR. CEO....
