GE side by side Eterna Refrigerator & GE Dishwasher

I purchased all new GE appliances in 2002, I have had 2 calls on the refrigerator & 1 on the dishwaser, in the past 2 years, My refrigerator is now completely dead! I called a week ago for service, They are supposeidly coming today!

I don't think they can fix this today! I think the compressor is

gone, after reading my warranty, I found that the Canadians have a ten year warranty on their compressor, We here in the good ole USA, have only 5 yrs. Hello! I can't understand that.

I also had to buy parts for the refrigerator, the sliders that hold the draws & shelves, made of cheap plastic, broke, I had no shelving.We are snowbirds and only use this equiptment 4 months out of the year.

I wrote to the Chairman of the Board of GE, Mr. Jeffery R. Immelt, and am waiting for a reply! I will let you know the results! Please, please, please! tell everyone you know
