Mannington vinyl flooring

This is a complaint about Mannington Gold vinyl flooring. We have our second replacement of the floor and it has moved so that I have a 1" gap at the seam. Down in my laundry room the gap is at least 2". Do not buy this floor unless you plan on replacing in one year. The finish is great but the seams will not stay together. We had reps from Mannington look at our floor to state that our sub flooring was perfect for this type of floor.

We were also sold a defective Mannington Gold Floor that was installed in our kitchen. It has shrunken and warped to the extent that it is hazardous to walk on, especially because I am disabled. Mannington has refused to replace the floor stating that the warranty had expired.

In fact, I have all the original documentation that clearly demonstrates

that the claim was filed within the warranty period.

Mannington has chosen to discriminate against us by not honoring the warranty.

If you look at Mannington's web site, you will see a quote that states Mannington will "DO THE RIGHT THING".

Mannington has chosen to ignore evidence from their own dealers and contractors, who have stated that Mannington Gold Flooring was a known defective product.

With Mannington, let the buyer/consumer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Mannington Autumn Meridian Cherry Laminate flooring has been horrible! We had this installed after water damage to our old laminate and now I truly miss the old floor. Mannington laminate has scratched, bubbled, dented and chipped. I dropped a cookie sheet on the floor one day and a big chunk popped out of the finish. If I can't even cook in my kitchen without being fearful of dropping something on my floor then what good is the flooring. I clean it with laminate floor cleaner and in addition to the tiny scratches all over the floor, it is constantly streaky; no matter what I do. There is a long trail of a dent the whole way down the hall from moving a piece of furniture (that NEVER happened with our old laminate). Just today I noticed that the edge of a piece has bubbled up from who knows what. In my opinion this flooring was a waste of my money a big dissapointment.

Ditto here!! Gold Series too. I can even send you pics of my floor. Separated from itself & then around the perimeter of my room I have wood showing at least 2". horrible. It was professionally installed by the company too according to their specs. Now it is developing some type of stains inside the vinyl itself whereas it is turning a purple color?? Beautiful floor but turned ugly.
