Mac stole from me

Mac stole from me

I would like to tell you a story about how a huge multi million dollar company stole from an out of work actor/waiter. It all started 14 days ago when I went to a Mac store to buy a computer. With 3000 dollars I saved up over a year in hundred dollar bills I eagerly entered the store. I found the most competant employee I could find and told him I was ready to buy. I explained to him I was going to have to keep my computer for atleast 3 years so I wanted the newest technology possible. I was ing to pay for the best so that's what I wanted. He told me the G4 Powerbook was the newest and best they had to offer. Aftter working out legistics I forked over 2408.00. This is an enormous amount of money to me, but I didn't care because I thought I was getting the best. That night I took it home and immediately got online, already having the neccessary hartdware. Shock, amazement, anger, and naseau all hit me when the Mac home screen came up. Staring me right in the face was the Mac Book Pro with the Intel processor chip. It was flashing "4X faster", and "Brand New Technology". I immediately looked how much it was and saw that it was only a hundred bucks more. I couldn't believe the salesman didn't tell me about it. Then I saw that it didn't come out until February. I realized he sold me the Power Book because that's what he had in the store. I called back the store and told them what happened and that I wanted the M ac Book Pro. They told me no problem come back in and well exchange them. A few days later I showed up with my hundred dollars excited to correct their mistake. Half way thru returning the Powerbook they mention that ill have to suffer a 10% restocking fee. I was stunned. I told them that 10% was 240 dollars and that making me pay that was rediculous. They told me that I got what I wanted and the box was open. I said "no, I did not get what I wanted. I wanted the absolute newest technology Mac had to offer. That would be the Mac Book Pro." They avtually tried to tell me that they have no real connec!

Mac. They said their not aware of the items coming out. They only know about what's in their store at the moment. Talk about taking advantage of someone and lying to cover it up. Anyway after a few choice words and writing down everyones information I stormed out. A few days later I went back with lots of cash and returnd the Powerbook for the Mac Book Pro. It costed me an extra 380 dollars. I ended up paying 2900 dollars for a 2600 dollar computer. What they did was disgusting and incredibly foul. They all deserve to be uncovered and repromanded by the law for their dishonest actions. They actually stole from a kid who worries constantly about paying his rent. They stole from a kid who's one bad speeding ticket from being thrown out of his apartment. I swear when I think about it, it makes me cry to think their arer people out their that sadistic. Now I await my Mac Book Pro in the mail. I wonder if theirs going to be a problem with the shipping. Thanx , THE RIPPED OFF KID

Next time it will be a good idea to do some research on your own so this doesn't happen again. Sorry for losing money :(
