Complaint of M and K Travel Services

I read the following complaint on your site. Similar thing happened to me also for travel by Singapore Airlines to India. I paid them back in July 2005 for travel in October 2005. They sent me the E-Ticket number and when I called Singapore Airlines to verify that, they said this E-Ticket number does not exist at all. I called him again and he acted smart by telling me that Singapore Airlines customer service doesn't know about these E-Tickets and only people at the Airport know about E-Tickets. Finally when I called hime for about 100 times, he said he will deliver me the paper tickets at the Airport 2 hours before my flight, but he never did. He stopped responding to my calls and hung on me everytime I called him. So this agent ate my $3400.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The main contact person of M AND K TRAVEL to whom I talked, his name is MANNY (he calls himself MANNY, doesn't know his actual name and he did not tell me his full name, even though I asked him so many times). His partners name is PAUL (again, not his full name, they don't just disclose their actual names).

They insist you to pay by cash / cashier's check or deposit money in their BANK OF AMERICA A/C No. 08372-40013. So that you can't even dispute the charge with your credit card company had you paid by credit card.

So BE AWARE OF THIS FRAUD TRAVEL AGENT.

Dishonest Travel Agency in the Bay Area:

M and K Travel Services cashed my cashier's check valued at $2734 on June27th for my travel to India by Lufthansa (Travel date Dec 9th 05). A confirmation reservation number was given to me by phone. M and K Travel promised to send me tickets the next day after they receive the cash. But to my surprise, the reservation dates they sent me were expired and the E ticket numbers were not registered with Lufthansa system.

When brought to the attention of President M & K travels, they sent me to a different link with new reservation numbers and E ticket numbers. I called Lufthansa to verify these numbers. It turned out to be a fraudulent ticket and expired reservation numbers, as confirmed by Lufthansa Airlines. I called M & K travel several times, and yet they refused to comment about the tickets and were angry with me for wasting their time by calling them. They told me that the tickets would be confirmed 72 hours before my departure date on 9th Dec, 2005. How can I trust this agency who gives fraudulent ticket numbers with expiration dates? This is not what he told before cashing my check. My family is planning this vacation in advance to avoid any last minute surprises. It is difficult to get an approval from my office for this travel. I have no confidence that this agency is honest and acting on good faith to provide our family the airline tickets to travel to India to visit our family and friends.

In addition, M and K Travel had promised to send me tickets as soon as he cashed my check. He cashed it on 27th of June and still there is no sign of tickets. In fact, he suggested that I cancel my tickets and loose $200 for each ticket for no fault of mine.

The President of this travel agency said, nobody can help me in this regard and does not reply to my emails for refund or genuine ticket numbers.

Most of the travel agencies I spoke to is aware of their dishonest behavior. You can find more information about this company on www. immihelp.com. M and K Travel deceives people with low prices and issues fraudulent travel tickets. M and K Travel agency is simply committing a public crime. I am asking for your assistance in investigating this fraudulent and deceptive business so that other future clients like me will not be taken advantage of and deceived.

Almost all telugu travel agencies are like this. Beware of telugu travel agencies. They don't know any thing and they start travel agencies. They are almost robbing. Now they become very greedy. They are cashing our travel urgency. I don't know how to stop this fraud agencies. Airlines has to stop these agencies.
