UPS - Chula Vista, CA and Dell Computers

UPS - Chula Vista, CA and Dell Computers UPS (in particular in Chula Vista but I have a feeling it is also UPS in general) is HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and completely INCAPABLE OF PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had I known what unbelievable difficulties there would be in acquiring my computer through their services I would not have used them and (I ordered my computer through Dell) if Dell does not provide other shipping options through other carriers I will not use Dell again. I feel that UPS' lack of customer service and inability to help and do what the customer wants and/or needs should constitute them as unusable and I feel that Dell should no longer rely on them as their number one mode of transporting goods. Firstly Dell told me the computer would be shipped out on the 25th from their location where ever that is. Imagine my surprise when I was at work on Friday to see that it would be deliver that day, the 20th. After not being able to sign for my package on Friday I was told I could pick it up at the warehouse on Boswell Court in Chula Vista but this, of course, was only assesed after I had to call multiple numbers and spend at least an hour on the phone with them AND then had to wait an additional hour or so for them to call me back. After driving particularly far out of my way (why is my package NOT at my local warehouse - I live in San Diego proper with a warehouse/delivery place right in Clairmont which is significantly closer to my house, say 15 minutes versus the 40 minutes it took to get to Chula Vista) and waiting in an absurd line for over an hour I was told that my computer was NOT available for pick up but would be delivered to my house on Monday. Since I HAVE to be here for signature I took today off to wait for my computer only to find out THEY DIDN'T SHIP IT OUT AND NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK TO GET IT! Or, I can take a second day off of work to wait for it again which I cannot do! I am fed up with UPS and unless someone goes to the appropriate lengths to rectify this situation I will not use UPS not will I encourage people to buy through Dell if only because their carrier is so horrible, so untrustworthy and so incabaple of customer service and appreciation!
