Complaint: Property Damage from Dish Installation.


This is a property damage complaint due to Dish Network Installation services provided by Dish Networks.


Dish Networks installs dish back in November 2005, and just recently I've noticed numerous broken roof tiles. Turned out that the “Dish Certified” installer came and actually ran cable wires through the roof!!!! I see miles of cable wires and broken roof tiles, possibly done in malicious way. The Dish installer was too lazy to run wires through crawlspace or the side the wall.


I first made contact with Dish Alliance Support Team in Texas on 1/16/2006. They said someone will get back to me within 48-72 hours. So far I haven't heard from anyone from Dish Networks, and other customer representatives would not tell me the mailing address or telephone number of claims department out of fear that I'd escalate this issue to the management.


Since then, I’ve done just that, escalated to the management. So far no one called.


I only want my roof to be fixed. But Dish Networks aren't responding to my plea. In fact, last time I called they ask me to deal with the installer directly. The installer wouldn’t pay of course, and ignores me whenever I call.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever get compensated, but for sure don’t ever order Dish, because you never know what type of installer you get.
