Directv account no 33580383 I order Directv service from the advertising witch clearly state directv with no other company involve or name in the advertising.
The advert says that I get a DVD player and a $100 rebate. I paid $149 in October 10/28/2005 to Directv and it is also install at the end of the month.
In November I phone to find out about the rebate and the DVD player I been told that the forms will be sent to me. And I have to fill it out and sent it with prove it been activated and first bill been paid.
Middle of November I phone again and ask for the forms again and ask to sent the forms because all I receive is marketing materials and bills.
12/02/2005 Directv paid $100 I paid and ask for the forms again to fill in and claim the rebate and DVD as the advertising say.
14/12/2003 Directv paid $59 I paid the account again and again ask the forms they give me a link for the $100 rebate but will sent the DVD form immediately.
The 20 of December I phone and ask the way thy do not sent the form. They been very apologizing and say that they will credit my account with $50 to compensate for the DVD. And I have to Waite 5 days to show.
On the 18 of January I phone again peaking to Red McFarland and this discussion really angry me because I am not stupid. And all she say and promise is the same than 77 days ago. Also say that I am not qualified for a DVD player. The following she say and what I disagree on.
1. She will resent me the forms and I must Waite another 4 weeks for it. I ALREADY WAITE 77 DAYS FOR IT!!!! HOW DO I KNOW SHE WILL SENT IT 3 TIMES BEFORE THEY LIED!!!. BUT ALSO SAY I DO NOT QUALIFY SO WHY DOES SHE SEND THE FORM!!!!!!!!! 2. I do not qualify for the DVD. THE ADVERTIZING CLEARLY SAYS THE DVD IS INCLUDED!!!!! 3. The company selling the equipment is another company and not Directv. I DELT THE WHOLE TIME WITH THEM AND THE ADVERT NEVER STATE A OTHER COMPANY NAME IN IT ONLY DIRECTV. 4. She what to give me some sort of a $5 discount on my account what an insult. MY TIME SPENT ON THIS IS MORE THAN $100 ALREADY AND I WHANT THEM TO HONNER THERE ADVERTIZING PROMISES. I DO NOT WHANT $5. 5. She didn’t know I already sent in the rebate for a $100 but after I told her I sent it in 3 weeks earlier suddenly she can see it on the system but can’t tell me in what state it is in. SHE CLEARLY LIED BLUNTLY AND THINK I AM TOO STUPED TO KNOW
Can you please help me to get the $100 rebate as well as the DVD player as the advertising say?
