DirecTv $100 Tivo DVR-R10 Rebate

DirecTv $100 Tivo DVR-R10 Rebate To Whom It May Concern, I purchased a DirecTV Tivo DVR R-10 system in November 2005. I bought it because of the $100 rebate offer. To get the rebate, first, Tivo service need to be added to the account and then wait one month to get the bill and make a copy and send it to the given address together with the rebates forms and other information. I did all this, I activated the Tivo service and then wait for the first month bill and sent all the information to the given address. I even spoke with DirecTV help desk to make sure I had all the information and to make sure I qualified for the rebate, they always told me I will not have any problem. Last week I got the answer letter in the mail, you can not imagine my surprise about DirecTV telling me I did not qualify for the rebate, and they did not give me any reason. I called DirecTV help desk and a really rude woman told me that there is nothing they could do about it, I told her I wanted to speak with a supervisor and she just put me in hold, after 45 minutes I hanged up. I have been looking all over the Internet and I am not the first person DirecTV is doing this to. How is it possible that a company like them can do this kind of things? I have been with DirecTV since 2000 and I never switched to other providers, but now I am thinking about doing that. I feel they stole $100 from me and there is nothing I can do about it.
