Design Savers Plan

This is an update to my complaint from August 9, 2005. I have received so many e-mails of people who were lured into the same trap. I was actually successful in getting a full refund, including the initial sign up fee. I had several phone calls and e-mails with Design Savers Plan and the Better Business Bureau and after about 2 months, they got tired of me and refunded me the money.

I also would like to mention that since I paid by credit card, I was able to do a charge back. American Express then did their own investigation. This might have helped in receiving the refund.

Please be persistent when asking for a refund. What this company is doing is barely legal and surely unethical. If you would like to contact the president of Design Savers, here is his info:
