I am the manager of a small business owned by my parents. It is a mom and pop grocery store. We process 40% of our sales through the debit machine. As such when the phone line goes down it puts considerable stress on our day's sales and inconvenience's our customers. Our current phone services provider is Sprint Canada and we have had nothing but problems from them. Beginning with frequent disconnection of our phone lines (we have 3, one phone, one fax, and one for the debit machine), to horrible customer service. They do nothing for business customers to ensure proper service when doing maintenance on their lines which require temporary disconnection and are just plain awful at fixing problems in a timely basis. My advice to everyone is to stick to Ma Bell even though you pay more you save in the end after factoring in lost sales and agravation.
