Dishonet Dish Network Corp. Regarding a free gift at time of subscription.
Home Theater System with DVD Player
All I wanted is what they promised at time of subscription. They lie every time I call them. Every Customer Service person has a different story. 1) never have received your paperwork? 2) it was late over 45 days? 3) you forgot to include your receipt?
ALL LIES. A BUNCH OF CROOKS.
Can you help?

Dish Network: "It's All In The Dish" or so their slogan goes... "It's All In The Ditch" is more like it, or at least that's how it should read, because that's exactly where their system belongs. This is an account of our personal nightmare which began with Dish Network last September 2005 when we switched over to their service... please make sure to read this entire page which relates the full story so you can know everything that's happened to me, in the interest of avoiding such pains! We'd been happy customers of DirecTV for over five years and decided to give the competition a try. What a mistake. We had previous experience with Echostar products (Dish Network is Echostar) in the 80s when we owned a 10 foot C-band dish. Their products had been notorious for being cheaply made and faulty. We figured perhaps with time they'd improved their equipment. After signing up with Dish Network, a local installer was contracted by Dish Network to install the system at our home. The ORDEAL we endure is simply unbelievable, including some damage done to our personal property. If this wasn't bad enough, we immediately had problems with Customer Service, and service from the company, and they never seemed to be able to get their act together. Since being burned by Dish Network, we've talked around to others only to find out from MANY other customers, including friends, relatives, and strangers, that they've had the same problems and nothing but dissatisfaction by being a Dish Network customer.
FIRST E-MAIL September 2005, I was convinced by Dish Network that, you had the best customer satisfaction. I purchased a Dish Network system over CONTINUING with Direct TV. In the contract specifically says that a Home Theater System with DVD Player, would be included. The contract was sign, and life was good. However, 16 weeks has gone by and no Home Theater System with DVD Player has ever shown up. Honestly, I am fed-up with deceptions, lies, etc. from Corporate America and our Government. At this time Dish Network is in breach of Contract, what was written in the contract was not deliver. If I do not pay my monthly bill, I will be breaching the contract. But that is not the case. I send the below attached form with my first monthly bill as instructed. The form was sent last October 2005. After talking to Scott at 800 759 0120, he advise me that, you have no knowledge or record of my order. I would like a reply as soon as possible please. My next contact will be from an Attorney, notifying you the cancellation of contract. I hate being cheated and deceived. People do anything as long as they get a contract sign. REPLY: Albert, Your gift offer rebate was denied for the following reasons: 1: DISH Network bill showing programming activation was not included. 2: Rebate paperwork was not postmarked within 45 days of activation as required. Activation was 9/4 and the rebate was postmarked 11/1. If you have any other questions, let us know. AllSat, Inc. www.allsat.com
SECOND REPLY: Also, per our Terms and Conditions, should you disconnect before your 1 year contract is up you will be subject for a $240 chargeback from DISH Network, and a $295 chargeback from AllSat…..so I would suggest you prepare for those charges should you disconnect.
