The company sent me a subscription renewal for PC World magazine for 24 issues for 2 years at $59.99. The form had to be returned by December 20, 2005.

In the back of the renewal form, it states they are an independent magazine clearinghouse agent, etc.

I contacted PC World magazine regarding this vendor when I noticed that the check was to be paid to "Publishers Billing Services" instead of "PC World".

PC World magazine does not recognize this company as a vendor. Also, PC World offers the 24 issues for 2 years at $24.99 if you're a subscriber to their PC World website.

It is very scary to know how this company got my information.
