A travel agency is harrassing its costumer

I had given my passport to a travel agency named ' travel and rentals ' in jamshedpur to get a visa stamped for china..

I had given them all the necessary document needed.

After 15 days when i went to their office .

the manager Mr Swedesh Mohanty said that the visa officer is asking for my credit card statement , before issuing a visa . I was surprised !!

How can a visa officer ask for a credit card statement...???

I felt something fishy was going on in the agency office .. so i asked for my passport back ... But Mr. Mohanty said that they have send it to their Delhi office... it will take another 3 days to come back to Jamshedpur...

Since i was in a hurry .. i need the visa as earliest as possible... i gave them my credit card statement and a photocopy of my credit card

I feel that the staff of Travels and rentals might misuse my credit card. , as they have all the information required to purchase online through my card .they have the credit card number through the photo copy. and all personal details required from my passport .

I don't know what to do ?

Dear Mr Abhishek ,We are confident that Travels and Rentals Pvt Ltd has not misued your card , which was asked by the embassy, today is 31may 2010 and iam damn sure that there has been no misuse till date, We would very much appreciate you removing this mail from the internet Since Travels and Rentals pvt ltd is not in the game of misusing their client credit cards .
