Sherwood Bridal Please post the following complaint on your site. SHERWOOD BRIDAL - DO NOT USE THEM! Yet another bride is unsatisfied with the service received from the staff at Sherwood bridal. I ordered my wedding dress with them in September 2005 for an April 2006 wedding. I was told that the dress was expected in store at the beginning of Novemb 2005 and that they would contact me to arrange delivery. December 2005 I still has heard nothing. I left repeated messages, e mails and sent faxes to Sherwood bridal chasing up my dress. They finally replied weeks later to say that my dress was expected in the next week. When the dress did arrive (or I was told it had arrived - I never actually saw it) I had to go through the whole trauma again to try to get it shipped. Repeated telephone calls, emails and faxes went unanswered. I was told the dress had been shipped to me, it didn't arrive (bridesmaids fitting had to be put off). I was told the dress might not have been shipped. I was again told it had been shipped. It did not arrive. Three months before the wedding I do not have a dress and doubt that one has actually been ordered. Sherwood Bridal has taken payment in full however for both the dress and the shipping. My entire schedule has been destroyed - I cannot set a colour scheme, order bridesmaids dresses, flowers, grooms and groomsmen's wear or move any further until receipt of my dress (it is coloured and everything needs to match it!). I am seriously considering reporting Sherwood Bridal to the Police for fraud. I am certainly going to make a complin to Trading Standards and if I see no dress in the next week will sue. AVOID THIS STRESS - USE A DIFFERENT BRIDAL STORE AND SPEAD THE WORD TO AS MANY OTHER BRIDES AS YOU CAN.
