E Tour & Travel/ VERY BAD SERVICE, LIES, MISLEADS!! E tour and travel, Orlando Fl,
Got a call saying I had won a trip to Orlando. I was like oh, and the guy said what do you mean "oh". He then explained it was really some bargain price including 4 tickets to Universal studio. Then he threw in a week stay in Daytona. Of course we accept- the tickets and the hotel are worth the price of what they were asking for! Just at $398 About 2 weeks later I called to cancel. They said ok. Our CC company reversed charges. After 1 year of back and forth they hit our card again and said it was NON REFUNDABLE (ok, why wait a year?). We decided to use it since we got charged. We scheduled everything then told we had to pay and EXTRA $100 for taxes- sounded likely. So we did. We are up to $500 now. Then they said there was no room in Daytona for the time we were traveling and we would have to rebook later! There was no mention of anything else, just go and have fun. I then emailed, about two months before our trip, because we never got our tickets in the mail, a video we were promised, or the maps. The lady wrote back- I still have the email- That we would receive the tickets at the hotel desk upon arrival!! No mention of anything else, just go to the hotel. (We didn't get any maps only and address for the hotel. We called so many times because we got lost trying to find it.) When we got to rental car company- funny we had to pay another $35 in taxes(we were driving from TX to FL). We had paid an extra $100 for this on an earlier call. We paid again what else could we do? Everything went smooth on our drive (we were in control) we arrived at the hotel in Orlando and suprise suprise- we had to go to KISSIMMEE to pick up the vouchers. Our confirmation sheet said to check in at the hotel reservation center. Again, misled. WHy do we need vouchers? I paid for everything. Drove a good distance to Kissimmee to their location. Then told we had to sit thru a time share deal to get the tickets in the middle of our vacation day and we were tired for just driving such a distance! Then told we only get 2 tickets not 4!!! Why am I going to pay $535 now to waste my time listening to someone try to sell me crap I don't want? I thought I was paying for this reduced price vacation. Since I paid it should have been on my time, not theirs.
I explained we were tired, our child was tired, and we wanted to rest. Then my son became disruptive and they tried to stick him in a room with same lady sitting on her butt doing nothing. My son decided this wasn't cool and acted up but they tried to keep him in this "kid's room" so they could continue to press sales for their condos! My son has ADHD and emotional problems and they just were not equipped to deal with children. Their idea of babysitting is having a small closet room with a tv and videos (not for all ages either) with a lady sitting on her rear in a small chair. They really need to think twice about that program as well. I was furious and making a scene. I told them to give me the tickets or I would sit out front warning everyone of the scam. Everyone was the supervisor too everytime I demanded one. They said if I don't sit thru it, we would not get the tickets. After showing them their email is misleading they said it was my printer not them!! How could it have been my printer? It seemed to print everything else! Then I sit thru the dumb thing and Because they lie and mislead people who wants to do business with them? I had a PLATINUM AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD WORTH 10 of their time shares- and I refused to invest because of the lies. They made my mother sit thru the thing too because she came to the hotel with us! BUT NO EXTRA TICKET FOR HER for UNIVERSAL! We finally get to the hotel after EONS of travel, misleading information and so on. When we arrive they want my credit card to charge MORE TAXES to the room!! Here is another $17 in taxes. We wasted all this gas, given a hard time, stayed in a DUMP (it was a dump too!) of a hotel, paid additional money for taxes, and then paid at each location for more taxes All for 2 "FREE" tickets to Universal Studios! We would have spent half that doing our normal plan and staying in our family owned home in Florida (although 1 hour drive from Orlando)and purchasing our own tickets. This was the biggest scam and waste of money ever! Don't be fooled. Remember if it sounds too good it is!! This was!! We wasted so much of our vacation it was not even funny dealing with these loosers! They also had the absolute worst customer service ever. Everyone was rude, the sales lady was too busy trying to get her daughter in a law a job and smoking then trying to sell- not that we would have bought anyway after the ordeal. The sales lady was trying to make me feel sorry for her by saying her kids won't eat unless we bought. Then later we find out her kids are in their 20's and married! More lies! Funny thing was we told them NO THE WHOLE TIME and called it stupid and everything. We were not very professional with them, as they were far from professional with us. They could have had a sale with us and my mother and most likely our in laws if they would have not lied and mislead and accepted responsibility when they were shown their error. They may even have had a sale if they would have apologized and kissed up to us and upgraded everything. Well they just lost a least 2 sales and anyone else I can warn about them! They were not very nice and ruined our vacation. I truly hope this will help someone! Don't be fooled by employee rebuttles either- they are on commission and that is the only reason they will stick up for that joke of a business. I saw others have the same complaints about them. Do a search on here and see for yourself!
