Free Gift World.com

I am another person who was scammed by Free Gift World.com. I saw an offer that appealed to me and thought I would take the time to attempt to win the gift offered - IBM Via Voice Pro, voice recognition program. After fulfilling the specified requirements in order to claim my "prize", [ I purchased four services which I did not really need], I kept receiving requests to apply for more free gifts. When I tried to claim my prize by submitting my e-mail address, and my password, I was told that these were not recognized, and when I requested information for my correct password, I could not get any reply from the company, even though I tried over and over again. I hope anyone who is thinking about trying to "win" these prizes get a chance to see this message before falling into the same trap that I did.

I also did not receive my gift. They made me fax them proof of service trials/completions etc and I never heard from them again. It has been 2 years and I am giving up. I did submit a general complaint at the FTC website: www.fcc.gov -- if they receive enough complaints they may take action. Who knows, maybe they will receive enough to shut down freegiftworld.com.

Strange how so many others never received their gift just like me. I purchased many items including multiple laptops and expensive services. FGW simply erased my account and claimed to not have any of my information even after I sent them all of the screen captures of service registration and receipts from purchases.

I am still trying to get my awarded prize, I emailed so many times. I too did the offers to receive a laptop from Toshiba, but still am having to try to get it from these people, what a scam, I cant believe that a company like Toshiba would allow this. They are a HUGE company that can keep this from happening so not sure why it has happened.
