Allied Interstate has been calling my home 2 times daily every day for a month, looking for my brother that never lived with me at my current address. They claim they obtained my number from an application for references. I know for a fact that my brother would never use my information since we haven’t talked in years. I know they obtain my information by skip tracing. I have no problem with the skip tracing but Allied calls and tell lies. I repeated myself to them over and over in witch I think they didn’t believe me that I don’t talk to him and to cease all calls to me. Call still came even after the 48 hours to remove my number from dialer list (never understood why they would put references on a dialer machine). I got feed up with them for the last time and when the called my house I just talked and listed to there conversation. They gave all the information to me and even offered me a settlement for what my brother owes. Fax a letter to me of that agreement and asked me for a check. I’m glad I pay my bills and I feel sorry for the ones that are in a collection agency that misuses there information.
