GE Triton Dishwasher

GE Triton Dishwasher We built a new home by Airhart Construction and took occupancy in November 05. This builder offered GE appliances, which we upgraded to Profile-drop-in range, double ovens and dishwasher. Upgraded the dishwasher to GSD6900. Very unsatisfactory cleaning performance right from the start. Three service technician service calls tell us to turn up the hot water heater (its already hot enough to melt a plastic cup), use more detergent because the water is slightly hard, pre rinse the dishes in the sink, use the rinse cycle right before the pots/pans, extra hot wash cycle, and this is the best comment…”these houses are so big that its almost impossible to get hot water to the dishwasher”!. My observance is that the water spray is not powerful enough to clean, the cycles are not long enough, and there is often detergent left in the cup. Needless to say, we will limp along for a time since GE will do nothing else, but at the 1st opportunity with some extra cash, we’re going to purchase a Bosh or Whirlpool (probably sooner than later). No more GE for us! West Chicago, Il. First if you know ANYTHING about houses that are BIG, you would know that it takes time for hot water to get pumped to the dishwasher. If you can afford a big house, just maybe you can afford a hot water circulator! Do you know what is? I am not a home builder I am a consumer Advocate at ripoffreport.com and I know what one is. Your complaint has NOTHING to do with GE's product. Your complaint has to do with YOU and YOUR BUILDER too cheep to install a hot water circulator. CRYBABY!
