Complain With MCS Bikers' MotorcycleStyle.com

I have a complaint with MCS Bikers and their

associated e-commerce Web site

WWW.MotorcycleStyle.com. I made an on-line purchase of

a motorcycle helmet through the MotorcycleStyle

Website. They processed the $315.87 order, charged my

VISA credit card, but never delivered the helmet.

Specifically, I ordered the Caberg FX Justissimo

modular flip-up motorcycle helmet on November 12,

2005. The scam began when I received an email dated

Saturday December 24, 2005 from MotorcycleStyle saying

my helmet that was on back order arrived and will be

shipped on the following Monday. Unknown to me,

MotorcycleStyle charged my credit card on December 23,

2005 using the MCS Bikers organization as the VISA

charge conduit. At the same time (i.e. on December 24,

2006), on my home phone, I received a telephone

message from "Billy" (no last name, no phone number)

of the MCS Bikers warehouse saying that my helmet was

not included in the shippment that just arrived and it

should arrive in a couple of weeks. In January 2006

when I received my VISA statement I realized that I

was charged the $315.87 for the order/helmet. It is

now February 6, 2006, 87 days from the initial

placement of the order. I have been trying to obtain

the helmet or have my VISA card credited. But, there

is no response to my many phone calls and emails. VISA

is currently investigating the transaction and

attempting to obtain a credit. At my request, VISA has

closed out my credit card account used in this

transaction and is opening up a new account for me. In

addition, VISA has notified me they received notices

of retail fraud on this account.

I am now aware of other consumers that have had the

same thing happen, namely, place an order, be charged

for the order, but never receive the order from MCS

Bikers & their Website www.MotorcycleStyle.com.
