Clothing & Apparel/Customer Service

Hello,

My complaint is against the women's clothing store Bolton's located on Madison bet. 86th & 87th St. The clerks that walk the store, primarily two of them in particular, two older black ladies, always watch me very, very closely when I come in to shop. They don't seem to treat the white patrons the same way. They follow me all over the store. On this particular trip that I took today into the store, not only did I get the same treatment but when I got to the fitting room the clerk placed a chair across it and was standing there waiting for me. She told me that the fitting room was closed. I asked where was the sign stating this and she said "excuse me?", like how dare I ask her such a question. And she proceeded to tell me how the store always closes their fitting room at the same time. It was 6:30 and the store closes at 7:00pm according to the clerk and I should have seen the closing time posted on the door. The sign was on the window to the far right when I got outside, which was fine, but I thought it unusual that the store would close its fitting room with so much time left and the store was even crowded. I will never spend another penny in that store in the future. There are a lot more stores that I can do my shopping in that don't make me feel like a criminal when I walk through the door. The other stores will gladly take my money.
