A&A Beepers & Cellular offers to convert an existing cell phone into a prepaid one. They want CASH ONLY, charging $38 for one month air time access, and $40 for the new SIM card. They give a new phone number through their provider, E-Z Link.

It is to my belief that E-Z Link is a fraud. I paid cash of $38 in January. I went to use the phone and it did not work. E-Z Link, although giving me that phone number, denied that the number was in their network. Upon showing the receipt to the Associate at A&A Beepers, the problem was resolved, but only temporarily.

I never got the 30 day access I was promised. For $38 they still cut me off 2 weeks early. This place is a rip off. My advice, don't give these little "mom and pop"stores the business. Go to a chain like Verizon, US Cellular, etc. or even buy a prepaid at a store like Walmart.
