We are a Dr's office open less than 6 months, found we couldnt afford SWBell Yellowpages yet. Gave up yellow pages and started looking at signs fliers and newspaper ads.Deidre Smith called my office unsolicited and said that she had one ad space left and closing was that day and she had a reduced price of 819.70, in front of me and my husband she confirmed twice that it was the yearly price. Got the bill a month later for 819.70 a month for 12 months and with it a signed contract ( she told me that she had to mail me a contract to sign, she didnt have one with her) appearently while I was out of the room, she told my husband that I had ok'd every thing and he needed to sign where she pointed. He said 'absoulutely he saw no "monthly" anywhere near where he signed' So now our credit is being ruined over a horrible looking adv. that we didnt agree to to the tune of $9,836.40 so far and a collection agency.
