For nearly 2 years a Fort Collins, Co phone number 970-377-2160 has been billed on my BellSouth account. When it first showed,up I had Sprint long distance service. When Sprint basically called me a liar, I changed to BellSouth long distance. For the most part, their reps have been very accommodating. However, I am very tired of calling every month to have these charges removed. I have even moved and had my phone number changed. No one can explain how or where these charges originate. I am not making the calls. All I have been able to find out is that it is a data line. I have also been told by phone company reps that my computer is dialing this number. I checked with a computer repair specialist who assured me this was impossible since I have high speed internet through a cable company line, not a phone line. What must I do to make this stop??
