Empire Carpet Installation

Empire Carpet Installation Empire Carpets, San Diego
We ordered our carpets on February 20th and scheduled installation for February 25, since it was a Saturday and would be most convenient for us. Our paperwork states Do Not Call for installation times. However, since we heard nothing from this company confirming our installation appointment, I asked my husband to call and confirm. He was told: Yes, we were scheduled for the 25th and they gave him a confirmation number. So, with their rediculous 10 hour window of 8AM to 6PM, I was forced to stay home all day Saturday. 6PM rolls around; no call, no installers. Husband calls Empire only to be told we were not in the system. Of course hubby was furious, especially since they wasted a whole day of my weekend. Of course we got alot of hemming and hawing about how they will take care of it, we will get a call on sunday to reschedule...then nothing. No phone calls. Monday rolls around; no phone call. Hubby calls the salesman and is told there was a mistake with our paperwork, he took care of it, somebody is working on it, and we should get a call on Monday. Its now 5:45 and no phone call. We have never received a phone call from these people without my husband calling them first. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We have all our furniture in the living room, since we moved it out in consideration of the installers. We have 1 piddly room to carpet! This company treats their customers like crap, and I recommend nobody use them. I wish I had found this web site long before this, I would have never called them. I might still cancel my order, but hate to have to start all over.
