Capital One

I was shocked to find out today that Capital One credit card services, the "fraud protectors", do not provide fraud protection against, "re-occuring" billings. If a vender gains access to your card number and posts a monthly re-occuring charge, Capital One Customer Service will do nothing. They insist you must get the charges removed yourself. They will not issue you a new card, if they give you a new card number the charge will simply be allowed to follow your account even though the vendor no longer has your card number.

Beware of Capital One, they are not as they seem.
