Complaint: Carpet Busters

Complaint: Carpet Busters On Wednesday, February 22, I called Carpet Busters in the MetroWest area of Boston to come and clean my area rug at my home. I was told that the cleaners would arrive on Saturday the 25th (today) between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. This morning, I got up and moved all of the furniture off of the rug and then vacuumed it in preparation for the cleaning. Noon came and went, so I called them at about 12:15. I was told that, although they had my name, address, and phone number in their system, they did not have an appointment listed for me. However, they had had a cancellation and would send over a cleaner who had just finished an appoinment in the area. The cleaner then called me 20 minutes later and asked if I could reschedule my appointment to tomorrow. I explained that I could not, as I would be out all day and my wife would be home alone with our infant son, and also because we did not want to wait for a whole day to put the furniture back in our living room. He said he would have to reschedule another appointment and would call me back. 45 minutes went by with no call. I called the main number again, and the dispatcher told me he would call the cleaner and get back to me. After another 20 minutes went by, I called again - and no one answered the phone. At this point, I have been waiting for 5 hours to have my carpet cleaned, and these people refuse to talk with me. Do not even call these people...they have no idea what they are doing and the concept of customer service is obviously lost on them.
