I had a line of credit which I paid off and had zero balance, and I closed. They charged me an annual fee on this closed acct, and further reported to the credit agencies that I was deliquent in paying the fee on my closed account. Talking with them was like talking to a brick wall -- total incompetence and idiots. I closed all my accounts with them years ago for just this reason.

My suggestion is that if anyone has current banking activities they should terminate their accounts. It's no surprise that this credit union is associated with Boeing, which many people believe to be the worst employer in the nation.
