Black Sea Gallery, Walnut Creek and Oakland


We purchased a sectional couch from the Black Sea Gallery in Walnut Creek, CA., 11 weeks ago. The store was “moving” and having a big sale. We were originally told we would have the couch in 6-8 weeks. 6-8 weeks came and went. We called the Walnut Creek store numerous times after and we were told it would 8-10 weeks. They have since closed down the store and moved to another location. It is now on the 11th week and we still do not have the couch.


I called the Walnut Creek office and when I told them who I was the man did a big huge sigh into the phone and hung up on me. I then called the Oakland branch and asked to talk to HIS boss; I was told he was the boss. I asked if I could then speak to the owner and I was hung up on by the lady in the OAKLAND BRANCH as well! I called back and explained that I needed to talk to the his boss, the owner of the company, SOMEBODY who could deal with the complete lack of customer service I was receiving and that I could come down to that office if I needed too in order to do that. The lady in that store told me and I quote “Fuck off” and hung up the phone again.


I called the store back and they will not take my calls.


I had my husband call and he asked if we could just part ways and forget the whole thing happened and receive a full refund for the couches that we did not receive and we were told it was against company policy to refund money. They were still not able to give us an exact delivery date.


We don’t want anything to do with this store or the couch at this point.
