In fairness, I would like to post that my appliance dealer was finally successful in convincing Viking to repair my trash compactor. Although it took several months, my trash compactor is now re-installed in my kitchen and working properly, at no cost to me! I thank my appliance dealer and Viking Appliances for resolving this problem satisfactorily.
