LG Refrigerator (LRBN22514ST)

LG Refrigerator (LRBN22514ST) We bought an LG fridge on Dec 8, 2005 (less than 3 months ago) in Florida, USA. Two weeks ago, the top (which is the fridge portion) stopped cooling and we lost all our milk, eggs, maio, left overs, cheeses, salad dressings etc. For two weeks (four visits from the techs) they tried to fix the problem and today the tech just ordered new parts (for the second time). That will mean one more week of waiting (without our fridge). I called LG and the place where I bought it from and nobody seems to be able to help me. I wish this piece of junk had broken earlier so that I could have returned it. I would not recommend LG to anyone. Came home the other day and the lights had not shut off, yes, the doors were closed tight, this resulted in the lights getting so hot they melted all of the housing and are now hanging by wires. I have unscrewed them and taken pics of the melted plastic that is bubbled all over the roof of the fridge. Had to toss all of the food as it was very warm in there even though the temp gauge on the door read 37 degrees...it was 60 so I guess that doesn't work either! LG sucks! This is the second time that we have had to throw away all the food, I just feel fortunate that the house didn't burn down however I have no faith in this appliance and now worry about that...
