Ikea/On-Line Catalog/poor web design/deceptive pricing

Ikea/On-Line Catalog/poor web design/deceptive pricing Furniture store with several stores world-wide, including Schaumburg. Has an on-line catalog that I have used to pre-shop. Same price in the store as the catalog - at least up until today. Today discovered that the prices may vary and finding the individual "store" catalog from the "on-line" catalog is convoluted. BEWARE. When you click a color, which can be located toward the bottom of the web page and requires scrolling, the price may change. But since you've scrolled down to get that button, and believe you are simply checking out the available colors. But, clicking the color involves scrolling down the page, so the consumer can no longer see the price. Pathetic web design that leads you to believe they purposely hide their prices or simply use the "Buyer Beware" policy to the utmost. Have a complaint? Good luck contacting their Maryland customer service department. Long waits and the rep kept contradicting her statements when I explained why her explanation was flawed. Good bye IKEA. Not worth the price - see other complaints posted all over web-sites by others. mk From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Monday, 20-Feb-06 20:32:24 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
