J.P. Morgan Chase Credit Cards

J.P. Morgan Chase Credit Cards To Whom It May Concern: I have had personal, business, and auto loan accounts with Chase, primarily through their acquisition of these servicers, for over 20 years. I am a small business owner starting another business and find that for some reason my "6.99%" rate on my United Mileage Plus card has gone to 24%, which is flatly obscene on any level. I'm sure my travels have caused late payments or over-limit times that kicked in this hidden and, frankly, immoral rate. Attempting to deal in good faith, and on the foundation of my long-term relationship with this company, not to mention the multiple accounts with them, I called customer support to negotiate a more favorable rate. The immediate answer was "there appears to be no better rate for your account at this time." I was shuffled up to "the manager" Abil in Bangalore who repeated, word for word, exactly what Kim on the front lines said. He also said that if I wanted to fax a letter, I could address it to the "customer manager" and gave me a fax number. This is likely the fax machine next to the paper shredder. I place high value on dealing in good faith. It is apparent that Chase does not feel similarly. They believe, for whatever reason, that they have solid leverage over me and will abstract whatever rate and whatever money they can from me without regard to history or the potential for future business, even if, by all standards, the rate they are charging me is akin to that of a loan shark. I am a homeowner with three properties across the country and a perfect track record of payment. I have been a business owner for over 27 years, and I want all who may read this to know that if you experience something similar, do not be discouraged. These unscrupulous companies want you to feel trapped and discouraged from seeking better providers. It is a trick that I succumbed many times in my youth. Never again. The fact is, Chase is dealing in Bad Faith, because any reputable firm would at least attempt to do something, if not out of personal concern for its customers, at least out of good business sense. Earlier this week, I moved all of my business accounts out of Chase into a fine Illinois subsidiary of a solid bank - Castle Bank. The failing of Chase in this area will see me aggressively pursue complaints in all channels (United Airlines, Illinois Banking Commission, Attorneys General, Federal Banking Commission), move all of my accounts over the next 6 weeks to institutions with more integrity, and I take every opportunity to advise anyone I speak to against doing business with Chase. Life is too short. Deal only with people who get it, not people who take it. Respectfully, Randal J. King __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
