Alliance One Collection Agency Due to unforseen circumstances, I got behind on my credit card payments. Soon it was turned over to this Alliance One collection agency. They preceeded to call me three to four times a day. Even after I spoke with guy assigned to my case, told him the situation and tried to work something out. That was not good enough. He kept calling, EVERYDAY. Finally, I was back on my feet and ready to resolve the situation completely. I called Raymond. I told him I was able to start making payments. I got nothing but the run around from him. He had to speak with his supervisor about my case, he informed me that it was the last day for my case to be in their office and that it was on its way back to the credit card agancy and they were gonna take legal action against me. It was nothing but fluff! Two days went by without hearing a thing. I finally just called the credit card agency and spoke with them directly. We had the situation resolved in less than a minute..literally, less than a minute! Its funny how they call you everyday, several times a day trying to get money out of you and then as soon as you have the money and want to pay, they can't seem to do anything for you! Absolutely ridiculous! Even though we have given them the information they refuse to stop calling. The gentleman(used loosely) is the rudest person I have ever spoke to. started telling me things then stopped and hung up. We have asked to be sent documentation and all they send is a statement with nothing but an amount that needs to be paid in 3 days??? I have a long standing rule that you really get more honey with a little kindness. I am about to pay out a large sum to them because they threaten legal action, which would affect my mortgage etc.... The payment is to be made in 2 days. Well I get a call tonight to harrase me some more. And when I wasn't exactly friendly to the person she said "why are you giving me attitude". How in the world does that person get away with saying that. I will be filing a formal complaint with this company after I have finalized this payment.
