Sectional Sofa From Sears of Canada I bougtht a sectional sofa from Sears of Canada and after 5 months returned it because it kept coming apart. The customer services employee at Sears said that I would lose a 25% useage fee because I had it longer than three months.
I kept the sofa alittle longer than three months because it was such a large item I was trying to convince myself to keep the sofa. It was a nice looking sofa if no one sat on it.
The employee at Sears contacted the suppliers who made the sofa and he reported back to me saying that mine was the first complaint to go in on this sofa and maybe the reason it was coming apart was because the floor in my home was not level or that if my home had hardwood flooring (inwhich I did) that I should put a rug under the sofa to keep it from coming apart.
I feel that if this is the case then why did they not put this in the discription of the sofa that if you have hardwood flooring that this sofa will come apart.
Anyway I lost $800 dollars upon returning the sofa.
