I want everyone to know what a scam of an operation

this company is. They are complete thieves !! On

December 18, 2005 I ordered a sofa that they claimed

was from a manufacturer that made the sofa just for

them. I was told the lead time would be 6-8 weeks but

that usually that Mfg. shipped sooner. When a few

weeks went by and I couldn't get a real ETA (estimated

time of arrival) on the sofa, I got worried and

demanded to know who the Mfg. was. After waiting 8

weeks, I contacted the Mfg. directly and they told

me....you should try and get a refund, then order from

another retailer. So first of all, this Mfg. was not

unique to Black Sea Gallery and and second it became

very apparent that Black Sea Gallery was on hold with

this company and they were not shipping anything to

them. I dug deeper and found out it was because they

were not paying their bills. Black Sea Gallery

requires full payment up front when you order, then

they made me wait and wait with no information, only

for me to find out that my sofa would not be coming

anytime soon. Plus when speaking to the Mfg., I found

out that they produce these sofas on a regular basis

and offer what's called "quick ship". They offer a

lead time of all of two weeks. I demanded a refund and

got it, then placed the order with another retailer

for the same sofa, then received it withing 1 1/2

weeks on a rush basis. The bottom line is that Black

Sea Gallery is "floating" on people's money and I

think it's pathedic. They obviously have financial

problems. I would recommend to other consumers that

they never deal with this company because you might

not have any recourse with them.
